What counts as an API request?
Each call to any /v1/ endpoint counts as one request — NPI lookup, provider search, nearby search, or taxonomy queries. Requests rejected for authentication or rate-limiting errors do not count.
When does my quota reset?
Monthly quotas reset at the start of each calendar month (UTC). Your usage is tracked at the account level across all API keys.
Can I upgrade or downgrade?
Yes — use the Billing Portal in your dashboard to change plans, update payment details, or cancel at any time. Changes take effect immediately.
How current is the provider data?
We import the full CMS NPPES dataset monthly and apply weekly incremental updates. Data is typically 1–2 weeks behind the official CMS release.
